Ganesan and Manuraj Legal LLP is an all-services law firm based in Chennai. Founded by Muthupandi Ganesan (Barrister-at-Law & Advocate) and Manuraj Shunmugasundaram (Advocate), the Firm caters to the legal needs of corporate and private clients. Ganesan and Manuraj Legal LLP is inviting applications for the position of Associate / Junior Associate.
Eligibility :
(i) LL.B. from a recognised university and enrolment with a State Bar Council.
(ii) Strong legal research, drafting and communication skills.
(iii) Sound understanding of criminal procedure, including BNSS, BNS and BSA.
(iv) Attention to detail, professional integrity and respect for client confidentiality.
(v) Preference will be given to applicants who are fluent in Tamil.
(vi) 1–3 years of full-time work experience as a lawyer or advocate.
Responsibility :
(i) Conduct legal research and analyse Supreme Court and High Court judgments.
(ii) Draft petitions, applications, replies, written submissions and legal opinions.
(iii) Assist with matters involving PMLA, Benami law, the Prevention of Corruption Act, company law and other criminal and commercial disputes.
(iv) Prepare case briefs, chronologies, hearing notes and arguments.
(v) Attend court proceedings and assist with filings, case preparation and client conferences.
(vi) Prepare clear, accurate legal articles supported by authentic statutory provisions and judgments.
(vii) Maintain case records and track filing and hearing deadlines.
