About the Job :
Wordict-IP is inviting applications for the position of Junior Associate – Intellectual Property Prosecution & Litigation at its Hyderabad office. The role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property matters, including prosecution, opposition proceedings, enforcement actions, advisory work and commercial litigation.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) PQE of 0-2 years.
(iv) Ability to manage multiple assignments and adhere to timelines.
(v) Strong drafting, research and analytical abilities.
Responsibility :
(i) Filing and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications
(ii) Handling opposition, rectification and related proceedings before the Trade Mark Registry
(iii) Drafting notices, pleadings, written submissions and other litigation-related documentation
(iv) Legal research, portfolio management and compliance with statutory deadlines.
(v) Drafting plaints, written statements, writ petitions, affidavits, appeals and related court pleadings.
(vi) Assisting in commercial agreements, advisory work and dispute resolution matters.
(vii) Appearances before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Registry, District Courts and the High Court.
