Case Background
B62 Studios Private Limited (“B62”) filed an Application in the Suit filed by Trimurti Films Pvt Ltd (“Trimurti”), inter alia, seeking an injunction against Trimurti, its promoters, representatives, agents, etc. from (a) making any public statements, granting interviews, issuing press releases, or otherwise publishing or disseminating any content in relation to the film “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” and (b) making any defamatory or disparaging statements in relation to B62 and/or its intellectual property in “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” during the pendency of the Suit.
Court Proceedings
The matter was listed on April 15, 2026, for ad-interim hearing before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. After hearing the parties at length, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Tushar Rao Gedela issued notice in the Application filed by B62. Further, counsel appearing for Trimurti made an undertaking before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court that Trimurti and/or its representatives will refrain from making any statements regarding the subject matter of the Suit until the next date of hearing, i.e., May 6, 2026. The said undertaking was taken on record vide order dated April 15, 2026.
