Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law advised EUE – European Universities in Egypt on stake acquisition by B Investments
The prominent and historic Egyptian law firm, Zaki Hashem, Attorneys at Law has advised EUE – European Universities in Egypt on the acquisition by B Investments, BPE Partners’ flagship investment vehicle, of a significant minority stake for approximately EGP 560 million (~USD 10.8 million).
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in the New Administrative Capital, EUE – European Universities in Egypt currently enrols around 2,000 students and hosts three international universities: the University of London (under the academic direction of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UCL, King’s College London and others), the University of Lancashire, and the University of East London.
The transaction proceeds will support the expansion of student capacity and further strengthen EUE’s position as one of Egypt’s leading private higher education platforms. Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
