SAM & Co. promotes 15, including 11 as partner
Those promoted include lawyers include seven each from New Delhi and Mumbai and one from Kolkata
India’s leading full-service law firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM & Co.) Thursday announced largescale internal promotions to lawyers as the Partner and Counsel positions.
Those promoted include 11 promotions to Partner and four promotions to Counsel, across its New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata offices. These promoted as Partner include New Delhi –based lawyers Angad Kochhar (Dispute Resolution), Chaitanya Safaya (Dispute Resolution), Rohan Jain (General Corporate), Shruti Sabharwal (Dispute Resolution) and Shrutikriti Kumar (General Corporate); Mumbai-based lawyers Abhishek Parekh, Deepa Rekha, Navruz Vakil, Tanya Uppal and Taranjeet Singh – all of them focus on General Corporate practice. Shiladitya Banerjee is the lone promoted Partner from the eastern metropolis Kolkata. He focuses on General Corporate.
Those promoted as Counsel are New Delhi-based Ankita Bhasin (Indirect Tax) and Shivangi Talwar (General Corporate); Mumbai-based Shivani Sinha (Banking & Finance) and Vaibhav Singh (Dispute Resolution).
