The International law firm, RPC has appointed Sumyutha Sivamani as a Partner in its Singapore office, where it operates through its joint law venture RPC Premier Law. The move further strengthens the firm’s insurance capabilities across Asia and accelerates the expansion of its cyber and data practice.
Sivamani joins RPC from Clyde & Co, bringing over 14 years of experience in insurance with a strong focus on cyber risk, incident response, and data privacy matters. She has advised insurers, reinsurers, and multinational clients across Asia on complex, multi-jurisdictional cyber incidents, coverage disputes, and regulatory investigations. At RPC, Sivamani will focus on expanding the firm’s cyber insurance practice and enhancing its data privacy and cybersecurity advisory capabilities across Asia, while also contributing to the continued growth of its wider insurance business.

“I’m delighted to be returning to RPC at a time of strong momentum for both the firm and the cyber insurance market in Asia. The cyber threat landscape, legal and regulatory landscape and the cyber insurance market continues to evolve at a rapid pace across Asia, and RPC’s commitment to continuing to expand its cyber offering – combined with its strong insurance platform – creates a fantastic opportunity to solidify our position as truly market-leading. I look forward to working with the team to further strengthen RPC’s cyber offering and to contributing to the continued growth and success of the wider insurance practice across Asia.”
