Prachi Patkar Appointed AVP – Legal at Kotak Mahindra Bank
Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Prachi Patkar as Associate Vice President – Legal.
Sharing her excitement on the new role, Prachi Patkar said,

Prachi Patkar brings over a decade of experience in banking and financial services legal functions, with deep expertise in consumer banking, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal advisory.
Prior to this role, she served as Senior Legal Manager at HDFC Bank, where she was responsible for handling legal matters across banking operations, regulatory advisory, and compliance support.
Before her tenure at HDFC Bank, she worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank as Legal Manager, where she focused on consumer banking legal matters and business advisory support.
She has also held legal roles at Agriwise Finserv Ltd., Mahindra Finance, and L&T Finance, where she gained extensive experience in lending operations, structured finance, debt documentation, SEBI and RBI compliance, and corporate secretarial support. She began her career in company secretarial and legal functions at L&T Finance Limited, contributing to IPO processes, debt listings, regulatory filings, and corporate governance matters.
Prachi Patkar holds a B.Com, LL.B. and is a qualified Company Secretary, with strong expertise in legal and secretarial compliance frameworks.
Her appointment as Associate Vice President – Legal at Kotak Mahindra Bank reflects the bank’s continued focus on strengthening its legal leadership within its growing consumer banking and financial services operations.
