About the Internship :
Applications are invited for the position of Trainee on a work-from-home basis with CS Abhijeet Verma (focusing on corporate compliances and taxation matters). The role offers structured and hands-on exposure to corporate legal and tax compliance practice in a professional environment.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good research and drafting skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
(iii) Prior exposure to corporate law and/or taxation will be preferred
(iv) Strong written and verbal communication skills
(v) Interest in corporate law and compliance matters
(vi) Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and legal analysis
Responsibilities:
(i) Handling company law compliances under the Companies Act, 2013
(ii) Handling real legal tasks with minimal supervision
(iii) ROC filings, incorporations, and ongoing compliance management
(iv) Support client advisory and compliance-related work
(v) Support in reviewing contracts and agreements
(vi) Assisting in client interactions and advocacy strategy
(vii) Conducting legal research and tracking regulatory updates
(viii) Assisting in GST and income tax-related matters
(ix) Legal drafting, documentation, and research
