About the Job :
Amartya Legal is hiring for the position of Associate for its Litigation Team at its Delhi and Chandigarh offices. The role involves handling diverse litigation matters and end-to-end case management across multiple forums.
Eligibility :
(i) 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation
(ii) Exceptional drafting and articulation skills
(iii) Proficiency in legal research and drafting
(iv) Excellent command over English
(v) Strong analytical and research orientation
(vi) Experience before DRT/DRAT/NCLT/NCLAT/High Courts preferred
Responsibility :
(i) Coordinating with clients and providing litigation support
(ii) End-to-end case management across civil, commercial, insolvency (IBC), SARFAESI, banking, and real estate matters
(iii) Drafting pleadings including Original Applications, Securitisation Applications, Section 7 & 8 petitions under IBC, written statements, notices, and legal documents
(iv) Conducting legal research, case analysis, and assisting in hearings and filings
(v) Ensuring procedural compliance across courts and tribunals including High Courts, District Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, DRT/DRAT, and Consumer Forums
(vi) Drafting pleadings including Original Applications, Securitisation Applications, Section 7 & 8 petitions under IBC, written statements, notices, and legal documents
