JSA announce appointment of two banking and finance lawyers
Juris Corp Partners Nand Gopal Anand and Pratish Kumar move to J. Sagar Associates to boost its banking & finance practice
Prominent Indian law firm J. Sagar Associates (JSA) Monday announced the appointments of lawyers Nand Gopal Anand and Pratish Kumar.
The duo, who were Partners with Juris Corp is expected to bolster JSA’s banking and finance practice, strengthen the firm’s service offerings and supplement its existing capabilities.

Nand Gopal will be stationed at the firm’s Gurugram office and oversee the banking and finance practice in North India, while Pratish will be stationed out of the firm’s Mumbai office.
It’s more like a homecoming for Pratish, who was in the past associated with JSA.
Nand Gopal Anand has 15 years of extensive experience in handling a variety of financing transactions involving Indian and foreign banks, financial institutions, multi-lateral agencies, governmental agencies, public sector enterprises and companies. He also works closely with corporates and banks in project financings across various sectors such as conventional and renewable energy, transmission, oil & gas and transportation.
Pratish Kumar’s expertise lies in domestic and cross border corporate lending, trade finance transactions and securitisation transactions which includes securitisation of standard assets, securitisation of non-performing assets, pass through structures and direct assignment transactions. He has also advised clients on debt restructuring and issues relating to the enforcement of security interests.
