About the Internship :
SMILE NGO is inviting applications from passionate and motivated law students and law graduates for a 45-day legal internship under Project Samarth – Legal Awareness, Access to Justice & Legal Career Development.
Eligibility :
• Students currently enrolled in their 2nd/3rd year (for three-year LLB courses) and 3rd/4th/5th year (for five-year LLB Courses).
• Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and legal analysis
• Good research, drafting, and communication skills will be an advantage.
• Freshers interested in Litigation and Legal Practice
Responsibilities:
• Project Samarth focuses on Legal Awareness, Access to Justice, Pro Bono Support and Legal Career Development.
• The internship aims to help participants understand the practical working environment of District Courts, High Courts and the Supreme Court while developing their legal research, drafting and case-related skills.
• Conducted legal research and prepared case summaries and recommendations.
• Coordinated with clients, advocates, and court staff regarding case proceedings.
• Assisted in drafting pleadings, applications, and other legal documents.
Duration : Minimum 45-day
