About the Internship :
The Office of Advocate Rahul Naskar, located on AJC Bose Road, Kolkata, is inviting applications for a Legal Intern for the upcoming winter session break. The internship is intended to provide practical exposure to legal research and drafting, with 3rd-year law students and above preferred.
Eligibility :
• Students currently enrolled in their 2nd/3rd year (for three-year LLB courses) and 3rd/4th/5th year (for five-year LLB Courses).
• Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and legal analysis
• Applicants should have strong proficiency in legal drafting, case law analysis, and statutory research, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should also be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and meeting defined turnarounds, and should be comfortable using modern legal-tech and productivity tools.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting in-depth legal research on various topics
• Drafting legal articles, petitions and applications
• Analysing court judgments and legal developments
• Improving legal writing and editing skills
• The intern will be expected to undertake legal research and drafting work, including case law analysis and statutory research. The role requires the ability to work independently, meet defined turnarounds, and effectively use modern legal-tech and productivity tools.
