Link Legal India Law Services has hired into its Mumbai projects, finance and infrastructure practice with IDFC First Bank vice president legal, Aditya Bhardwaj.

With him, Link Legal has 32 partners, including 10 partners in Mumbai.

Bhardwaj, who is a 2006 Delhi University law graduate, has joined Link Legal as an associate partner after having spent the last 12 years in-house at IL&FS and IDFC in the finance and projects space, as well as the first two years of his career at Singhania and Partners (see work history below).

His main experience is in infrastructure advisory, project finance and corporate banking, according to Link Legal, with him having acted in bond issues, acquisition finance, structured finance and general corporate and commercial matters, as well as some disputes relating to infrastructure and projects.

Specifically, he has also advised on finance structuring, and projects due diligence and compliance.

His addition would “further strengthen the firm’s capability in the projects, finance & infrastructure practice, said the firm in its press release.
