Finance partner Carol Van der Vorst joins Freshfields
She will advise the firm’s financial sponsor clients on complex cross-border debt financing transactions
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has announced that Carol Van der Vorst, a highly experienced finance lawyer in the private equity market, has joined the firm’s leveraged finance team in London as a partner.
Van der Vorst will be associated with the world-class financial sponsor offering, one of the firm’s core growth areas, experiencing increasing client demand.

Having significant experience, she has served as a managing director in the debt underwriting group at Goldman Sachs and as a partner at Ropes & Gray.
