Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised the placement agents on QIP of Poonawalla Fincorp Limited
The leading law firm in India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Jefferies India Private Limited, and J.P. Morgan India Private Limited on the qualified institutions placement (QIP) of equity shares of Poonawalla Fincorp Limited.
The transaction comprised an issuance of 67,430,883 equity shares of face value INR 2 each at an issue price of INR 370.75 per equity share (including a premium of INR 368.75 per equity share), aggregating to INR 2,500 crore. The QIP was undertaken in accordance with Chapter VI of the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, and Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2013, along with other applicable laws and regulations. The issue opened on April 9, 2026, and closed on April 13, 2026.
