CLAT – A LESSON IN LIFE

CLAT - A Lesson in Life

Did you fail to crack CLAT ? Are you questioning your own abilities and talent you endure just because you failed to crack the exam ? Then, just stop thinking and read this further!

Approx. 80,000 students every year enroll for CLAT exam, only 2500 students get selected for all the NLUs and just 250 students get admission in top 3 NLUs.

To be honest, it’s not the end of the world! I know you must be confused, nervous and scared on what your future might hold. Don’t worry. I know exactly how you feel.

TAKE SOME TIME OFF

Take your mind off. Get some rest, meet your friends, talk to your family members and then after a week, sit calmly and decide what you want in your future. It might be very tough to accept the fact that “You didn’t make it to your dream NLU.” But what did you learn in the process is exactly what will take you far ahead.

HERE’S THE CATCH

Take a pen and a paper, write down what did you learn in the whole preparation of CLAT exam. Then, make a promise to yourself that you will keep the good habits with you ( For example, reading the newspaper daily). Make a list of all the goals you wish to fulfil in the upcoming year (May it be to rank 1st in the college you choose for yourself or sit for CLAT again and this time, you better crack it).

It is the habits that one makes, which matters at the end. So, just make sure, you do not give up on all the good habits that you have inculcated, during your preparation for CLAT 2021. All these good habits will keep you reminded of the amount of hard work you can put in a task which matters to you in your life.

When I will say that you have learned a lot in this past one or two years, you might not believe me but again, just look at the list you made. You are far ahead, and you will reach all that you desire for.

The journey might be tough but that’s what life is!

THE JOURNEY HAS JUST BEGUN

There are so many things that you have not explored till now, there are so many things you are left to learn, and the journey has just begun.

As I said “It’s not the end of the world” because there are a lot of good private law colleges that you can sign up for. You can now start working on your weakness. Consider this to be a learning lesson in life and move on.

If you take from my own experience, what matters most in law school is hard work, consistency, persistence and dedication towards your work and passion. What kept me going on bad days was the love for law that I endured. Never give up on yourself.

Lastly, what matters at the end of the day is the faith you have on yourself, and you are ready to put in the hard work that is required.

Do not compare yourself to others because everyone’s journey is different.

Remember, college is the path you take to become an advocate, judge, or work in corporate law firm. What is the best part is – It’s the journey onwards and the learnings that matter!

You might have to work hard more than you expected but don’t give up!

You define your college and it’s not the other way around.

Wishing you all luck. Keep hustling.
