Christopher Manoharan and Ramasamy Santhanakrishnan have joined the partnership at Kochhar & Co in corporate compliance and dispute resolution practices, respectively.
Early this year, Sujatha Rangachari also joined the Chennai office as a senior partner to expand its banking, project, finance, and real estate practice in the South India region.

A 1994 graduate of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Manoharan, who joined as a senior partner, specializes in corporate commercial transactions, venture capital and private equity transactions, joint ventures, trademark litigation and raid execution, large IT outsourcing deals, licensing agreements, commercial real estate, employment laws, and government policies.
He has had substantial experience in handling early-stage investments in venture funding, private equity, joint ventures, and technical collaborations. Manoharan has also advised and represented clients before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
Santhanakrishnan is a 2011 graduate of the ILS Law College, Pune, and will focus on corporate compliance and advisory, dispute resolution, employment, insolvency and intellectual property laws.
With over a decade of professional experience, he has represented top MNCs, blue-chip IT companies, automotive makers and other companies before the Madras High Court, the Bombay High Court and other forums in matters including civil litigation, consumer protection, debt recovery litigation, employment, sexual harassment claims, intellectual property disputes, and arbitrations.
