Campbells Strengthens Hong Kong Team With Addition Of Stuart D’Addona

Offshore law firm Campbells has strengthened its Hong Kong office with the addition of litigator Stuart D’Addona as a Partner. D’Addona joins from Walkers, where he spent nearly a decade, bringing extensive experience in Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law, particularly in shareholder disputes, corporate governance issues, fraud and asset tracing, and urgent injunctive relief.

D’Addona specializes in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, advising a diverse range of clients, including investment funds, banks, publicly listed companies, high-net-worth individuals, and professional services firms. Prior to his time at Walkers’ Singapore and Hong Kong offices, he worked with prominent Australian law firms Gilbert + Tobin and MinterEllison.

“I have known Stuart for many years, having worked both with and against him. He is an extremely talented lawyer and is highly respected in the market,” said Shaun Folpp, managing partner of Campbells’ Hong Kong office.

D’Addona’s move aligns with Campbells’ strategy to expand its presence in Hong Kong, a key financial hub in Asia. His expertise in family and private wealth matters is expected to further enhance the firm’s offerings to private clients. The Hong Kong office now has seven partners, including banking and finance expert Paul Trewartha, who joined earlier this year from Mourant.
