AZB & Partners advised JSW Energy on acquisition of KSK Water and Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Entities under IBC
The prominent full-service Indian law firm, AZB & Partners advised JSW Energy Limited on the strategic acquisition of KSK Water Infrastructures Private Limited and Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Private Limited, two critical infrastructure entities of KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited (KMPCL), both undergoing separate insolvency proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
The acquisitions follow JSW Energy’s earlier acquisition of KMPCL through the IBC process in March 2025.
