About the Job :
Karn Deo Baghel is hiring a Junior Associate for his office in Jangpura Extension, New Delhi.
Eligibility :
(i) LL.B. from a recognised university
(ii) Minimum two years of experience.
(iii) A recognised law degree and eligibility to practise law in India.
(iv) Strong legal research and analytical skills, including proficiency in using legal databases and interpreting constitutional and statutory provisions.
(v) Clear, precise and structured legal drafting skills.
(vi) Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
(vii) High professional integrity, attention to detail, strong time management and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
(viii) Familiarity with court practices, filing procedures and the functioning of the Supreme Court, High Courts and tribunals.
(ix) Prior internships or experience in appellate or constitutional litigation will be an advantage.
Responsibility :
(i) Appear before courts and assist in day-to-day court proceedings
(ii) Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and written submissions
(iii) Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis
(iv) Brief and assist seniors in hearings and trials
(v) Manage case files, documentation, and court filings
(vi) Liaise with clients, court staff, and other advocates
