School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, is organising a 5-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Law and Economics” from 11 to 15 November 2026. The programme is open to students, faculty members, research scholars and other interested participants, except members of SALE. The last date to register is 8 November 2026.
About RGNUL
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab through the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006).
The University received the approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI) in July 2006. In May 2015, RGNUL became the first and only National Law University (NLU) to receive accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. In 2018, RGNUL was among the four NLUs granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
About the School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE)
SALE aims at teaching and promoting research in the specialisation course of Agricultural Law and Economics, which seeks to integrate the disciplines of law, economics and policy to address the multifaceted challenges of the agricultural sector.
The Centre endeavours to synergise legal and economic perspectives in areas such as agricultural marketing, insurance, tenancy, credit, standardisation and international trade, while emphasising sustainability and environmental protection.
RGNUL has established SALE as a Centre of Excellence to promote academic and professional engagement in agricultural law and policy research.
About the Faculty Development Programme
The School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE), Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, is organising a 5-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Law and Economics” from 11 to 15 November 2026.
The programme will explore contemporary intersections between Law and Economics through an academic and interdisciplinary approach.

- All other interested participants
Eligibility: Open to all, except members of SALE.
Registration Fee
₹500 per participant.
Participants are required to submit the necessary payment details while completing the registration process. Registration will be considered complete upon successful submission of the registration form and payment details.

Top 3 Performers: Opportunity for Research Assistantship.
The top-performing participants will be recognised based on their performance throughout the Faculty Development Programme.
