Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise constituted by an Act of Parliament. It is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure on the ground and in the country’s airspace. AAI has been conferred with Mini Ratna Category-I status.
About the Recruitment
Airports Authority of India has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for recruitment to the posts of Manager (Law) and Junior Executive (Law). Applications must be submitted online through the Careers section of the official AAI website. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria for Manager (Law)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Professional Degree in Law through either of the following:
- A three-year regular law course completed after graduation; or
- A five-year integrated regular law course completed after Class 12.
Candidates should also be eligible to enrol as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India to practise before courts in India.
Experience: Candidates must possess at least three years of post-qualification work experience in the field of law.
Eligibility Criteria for Junior Executive (Law)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Professional Degree in Law through either of the following:
- A three-year regular law course completed after graduation; or
- A five-year integrated regular law course completed after Class 12.
Candidates should be eligible to enrol as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India to practise before courts in India.
Experience: No previous work experience is required.
Important Qualification Requirement
The professional degree in law will be considered only when it has been obtained from an institute or university recognised by the Bar Council of India.
The prescribed qualification must have been acquired on or before September 7, 2026. Candidates should apply only when the final result of the required qualification has already been declared.
Experience Requirement for Manager (Law)
The required experience should have been acquired from the Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, large private-sector organisations, institutions or companies of repute.
For the purpose of experience obtained from a large law firm, the notification defines a large law firm as one having an annual turnover of more than Rs. 10 crore during the financial years corresponding to the claimed period of experience.
Age Limit
- Manager (Law): Maximum 32 years as on September 7, 2026.
- Junior Executive (Law): Maximum 27 years as on September 7, 2026.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates: 3 years
- Eligible PwBD candidates: 10 years
- Eligible ex-servicemen and commissioned officers: Maximum relaxation of 5 years
- Eligible regular AAI employees who have completed probation: Maximum relaxation of 10 years
The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted for determining age.
Salary
Manager (Law): Group A, E-3 Level, in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000–3%–1,80,000.
Junior Executive (Law): Group B, E-1 Level, in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000–3%–1,40,000.
In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to Dearness Allowance, perks at 35% of basic pay, House Rent Allowance and other benefits, including CPF, gratuity, social security schemes and medical benefits, as admissible under AAI rules.
- Approximate CTC for Manager: Rs. 21 lakh per annum
- Approximate CTC for Junior Executive: Rs. 14 lakh per annum
Selection Process
An objective-type Computer-Based Test will be conducted for both law posts. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the Computer-Based Test.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the subsequent stages based on their performance in the Computer-Based Test.
Manager (Law): The selection process will include:

The provisional merit list will be prepared based on performance in the Computer-Based Test and interview, wherever applicable, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility requirements.
The Computer-Based Test will be bilingual in Hindi and English, except for any test of language.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 1,000, inclusive of GST. The fee must be paid through online mode only.
The following candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee:
- SC candidates
- ST candidates
- PwBD candidates
- Women candidates
- Candidates who have successfully completed one year of apprenticeship training in AAI
Applicable bank transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by the candidate. Fees once paid will not be refunded, except for duplicate payments as provided in the notification.

- Locate Advertisement No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT.
- Select the relevant law post.
- Complete the online registration and application form.
- Upload the prescribed photograph, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Pay the application fee, wherever applicable.
- Submit the application and retain a printout of the application form and e-receipt.
Candidates applying for more than one post must complete a separate registration and pay the applicable fee separately for each post.

Important Instructions
- Only eligible Indian nationals can apply.
- Age, qualification, experience and other eligibility conditions will be determined as on September 7, 2026.
- Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification by the closing date.
- Original certificates, proof of identity and one set of self-attested photocopies must be produced during application verification or interview.
- Candidates working in the Government, autonomous bodies or public sector undertakings must produce a No Objection Certificate from their present employer during verification or interview.
- Selection will be subject to document verification, background verification and fulfilment of the prescribed medical standards.
- Colour blindness or night blindness is a ground for rejection for the two law posts.
