Khaitan & Co advised Startek on cross-border merger with CCI Consulting and CCI Enterprises
The India’s leading law firm Khaitan & Co acted as India counsel and advised Startek Inc. on its cross-border merger with CCI Consulting FZCO and CCI Enterprises FZCO to create a scaled, private equity-backed global customer experience (CX) platform. The transaction involved a complex multi-jurisdictional merger structure spanning the United States and the UAE, along with the integration of multiple global subsidiaries.
The Firm advised on the following aspects:
- (i) Conducting India-leg due diligence on the Indian subsidiaries of the Startek Group;
- (ii) Facilitating and coordinating the legal due diligences of various subsidiaries of the Startek Group in Australia, Honduras, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa and the USA; and
- (iii) Advising on structuring and competition law aspects.
