About Mar Gregorios College of Law
Mar Gregorios College of Law, Thiruvananthapuram, is Kerala’s first NAAC-accredited law college. The institution offers integrated B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B. and LL.M. programmes. The Moot Court Society of the college promotes activities relating to mooting, alternative dispute resolution, client counselling and trial advocacy. It also has experience in organising national-level competitions.
About the Competition
The Moot Court Society of Mar Gregorios College of Law, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), is organising the 1st National Memorial Drafting Competition 2026. The national-level competition will be conducted virtually and aims to promote excellence in legal research, analytical reasoning and memorial drafting among law students across the country.
Mode of the Competition
The competition will be conducted in virtual mode.
Eligibility
The following students are eligible to participate:
- Undergraduate law students pursuing a three-year LL.B. or five-year integrated law course.
- Postgraduate law students pursuing an LL.M. programme.
Team Composition
- Participants may register individually or as a team of two members.
- Cross-institutional teams are permitted.
- Participants must submit memorials on behalf of both the Petitioner and the Respondent.
Registration Fee
- Individual Participation: ₹600
- Team of Two Members: ₹800
