Victoria Wyer Relocates to Dentons Dubai Office to Strengthen Debt Capital Markets and Finance Practice

The global law firm Dentons has announced that capital markets partner Victoria Wyer has relocated from the firm’s London office to its Dubai office, reinforcing Dentons’ continued investment in debt capital markets (DCM) and financial services across the Middle East.

Victoria Wyer, an experienced DCM specialist, brings a highly varied international practice with deep expertise advising underwriters and issuers, including corporates, financial institutions, and sovereigns. Her work spans investment grade and emerging markets, covering euro medium-term note (EMTN) and euro commercial paper (ECP) establishments, updates and drawdowns, regulatory capital, green and sustainability-linked bonds, and liability management transactions, including cash tenders, exchange offers, consent solicitations, and negative consents.

Victoria’s relocation strengthens collaboration between Dentons’ London and Dubai English law DCM practices, providing Middle East clients with enhanced access to the firm’s global resources while ensuring continuity of high-quality service and regional expertise.

Paul Jarvis, CEO of Dentons UK, Ireland, and Middle East, said, “Victoria’s relocation is the latest signal of Dentons’ strategic investment in our Middle East capital markets capabilities. Her expertise aligns with client demand in the region and will strengthen our support to major financial institutions and corporate issuers.”

Stephen Knight, Head of the Middle East Banking and Finance practice, said, “We are delighted to welcome Victoria to our top-tier banking team in the Middle East. This presents a unique opportunity to enhance the quality and depth of our offering to clients. Her arrival follows recent strategic hires and promotions, further reinforcing our regional capabilities.”

Victoria Wyer said, “I am excited to join the Dentons team in the Middle East. I look forward to supporting existing clients, building new relationships across the region, and contributing to the firm’s growing and ambitious practice in debt capital markets.”

Dentons maintains seven offices across the Middle East in Amman, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Muscat, and Riyadh, providing clients with local support backed by international capability and reach. Victoria’s move follows other recent strategic relocations and promotions in the Dubai office, including corporate partner Nik Colbridge and banking and finance partner Ahmed Butt.
