
UUBO Advised FMO and Development Finance Institutions on US$295 Million Syndicated Loan to Access Bank
Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie (UUBO) advised as legal counsel to Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij Voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. (FMO) and a syndicate of other development finance institutions in connection with the provision of a syndicated term loan facility of up to US$295 million to Access Bank Plc.
The facility is aimed at strengthening the Tier 2 Capital of Access Bank and providing capital to women, youth, and agriculture-focused SMEs, including those located in rural regions across Nigeria. This initiative aligns with the broader objective of enhancing financial inclusion and supporting sustainable economic development in key sectors.
