Trilegal advised on the proposed IPO of Sify Infinit Spaces

The Leading law firm, Trilegal, has advised on the proposed initial public offering of equity shares by Sify Infinit Spaces, comprising a fresh issue and an offer for sale of equity shares by Kotak Data Center Fund and Kotak Special Situations Fund, aggregating up to INR 37.00 billion.

Sify Infinit is the first company to establish a data center in India and is a leading provider of colocation services. It is promoted by Sify Technologies, the first private internet provider in India and the first Indian ICT company listed on NASDAQ in 1999.

The IPO proceeds are intended to partly fund the capital expenditure for the completion of a data center tower in Chennai, the setup of two towers of data centers at Rabale, Mumbai, and the repayment of borrowings.

Trilegal represented the syndicate of book running lead managers, comprising JM Financial, CLSA India, J.P. Morgan India, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, and Morgan Stanley India Company.
