
Trilegal acts as legal advisor for Atlanta Electricals’ IPO
The leading Indian law firm Trilegal advised on the successful listing of equity shares by Atlanta Electricals Limited (“Atlanta”) aggregating to ₹6,873.41 million (“IPO”).
Atlanta is a transformer manufacturer in India, specialising in power, auto, and inverter duty transformers up to and including 500 Mega Volt-Amp capacity and 775 kilovolts voltage, with operations across 19 states and three union territories.
The IPO proceeds will be utilised for repayment of borrowings and funding working capital requirements. The IPO was over-subscribed 70.63 times, recording an overwhelming response from Qualified Institutional Buyers with a 194.92 times subscription. Atlanta debuted strongly on the bourses, delivering a 14.59% premium.
The syndicate of book running lead managers comprised Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited and Axis Capital Limited.
