Stephenson Harwood Boosts Asia-Pacific Corporate Practice with Partner Hire in Hong Kong

Global law firm Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its Asia-Pacific corporate practice with the strategic hire of partner Amy Yu in Hong Kong.

Yu boasts a distinguished track record in equity capital markets (ECM) and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), with expertise in IPOs, public/private M&A, restructurings, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.

“Yu’s extensive experience adds crucial depth to our regional M&A practice and bolsters our IPO capabilities,” said Evangeline Quek, Managing Partner at Stephenson Harwood. “She seamlessly integrates with our team and will be instrumental in our continued growth.”

Yu joins with close to two decades of experience, previously working at top firms like Latham & Watkins, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and local outfit Woo, Kwan, Lee & Lo. This appointment brings Stephenson Harwood’s Hong Kong partner count to 25.
