SAM hires partners Abhiroop Datta, Prateek Jauhari from S&R, Linklaters Singapore

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has laterally hired two fee-earners into its partnership from S&R Associates and Linklaters.

Abhiroop Amitava Datta has joined as a partner from S&R Associates in Delhi, where he specialised in securities work.

He is a 2009 Nalsar Hyderabad graduate who had worked at erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas until 2017, before joining S&R.

Linklaters Singapore-based banking & projects managing associate Prateek Jauhari has also joined Shardul Amarchand as a partner.

The 2010 GNLU Gandhinagar graduate had been at Linklaters since 2018, having previous worked at Alctico Capital and Trilegal in Mumbai.

They are the third partner hires in addition to three promotions announced yesterday at the firm.
