Rachna Goria Takes On New Role As Company Secretary And KMP At Dalmia Bharat Sugar
Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Limited has appointed Rachna Goria as the Company Secretary and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company, effective February 11, 2025. She will also serve as the Compliance Officer under Regulation 6 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
With over 28 years of experience in secretarial, compliance, and legal functions, Goria has worked extensively across key sectors such as cement, refractory, power generation, and sugar industries. She has been with the Dalmia Bharat Group for over 19 years, playing a pivotal role in the group’s restructuring, including mergers, demergers, and acquisitions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. She has also contributed significantly to policy formulation and implementation.
In addition, Goria has spearheaded several corporate actions, including rights issues and fundraising through debt instruments. Prior to joining the group in 2006, she worked at Titus & Co., Advocates, advising national and international clients on compliance, legal, regulatory issues, and various corporate matters.
She has served as a prominent woman director on the board of directors of nine group companies and has been a member of the Internal Complaints Committee under the POSH Act. Goria has also held the position of Business Responsibility Head and served as a member of the Management Committee on Corporate Affairs at FICCI.
