Perkins Coie and Ashurst Merge to Establish Ashurst Perkins Coie as a Top-20 Global Firm

The global law firm Ashurst and the leading international law firm Perkins Coie have announced a landmark merger to form Ashurst Perkins Coie, creating one of the world’s top-20 law firms by revenue and global footprint.

The newly combined firm will be jointly led by Bill Malley and Paul Jenkins as Global Co-CEOs, ensuring unified leadership as Ashurst Perkins Coie enters its next phase of growth and international expansion.

Ashurst Perkins Coie brings together two firms with highly complementary geographic footprints, sector strengths, and firm cultures, creating a fully integrated global platform. The Combination Firm will combine Perkins Coie’s market leadership in technology, corporate, litigation, and intellectual property with Ashurst’s global strength in energy & infrastructure, financial services, and real estate.

The merged firm will have 3,000 lawyers, US$2.7 billion in revenue, and a presence across 52 offices in 23 countries, with flagship hubs in Seattle, London, Sydney, and New York, and offices in key business centers including Brussels, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Paris, Seoul, Shenzhen, Singapore, and Tokyo.
