Northwest Natural Appoints Megan H. Berge As New Deputy General Counsel

Northwest Natural Holding Company has announced the appointment of Megan H. Berge as its deputy general counsel and corporate secretary, as well as the general counsel of NW Natural Gas Company, effective March 3.

Berge joins NW Natural from the international law firm Baker Botts, where she was a partner. She brings extensive experience in federal and state environmental law, civil litigation, and rulemaking advocacy to her new role. Throughout her career, she has been involved in significant legal outcomes, including advocating for water providers on permitting flexibilities and emerging regulations.

Berge earned her law degree from the Francis King Carey School of Law at the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware.
