L&L Partners Mumbai-based litigation managing associate, Prateek Mishra, has left to become an independent advocate in Delhi.
The 2013 NLIU Bhopal graduate had joined the firm after his 2014 LLM at Queen Mary, University of London.
“After almost 7 years at L&L, I have decided to shift back to Delhi and establish an independent practice focusing on commercial litigation, arbitration and insolvency, which have been my focus areas at L&L,” he commented.
“My time at the firm has been rewarding and I am grateful to Mr Luthra and Mr Chandhoke for their faith and mentorship through the years. I would also like to thank my colleagues and team members for their constant support.
Litigation equity partner Bobby Chandhoke commented: “He is a tremendous asset. We can only wish him all the very best!”
We understand that Mishra had resigned in late June, pre-dating the public spat between the two corporate partnership equity partners, Rajiv Luthra and Mohit Saraf (and in any case, the L&L litigation partnership is a separate one from the corporate partnership at the heart of that dispute).
