Link Legal India Law Services has aqui-hired the compliance practice of SD Services founder Prasanta Sahu as a partner, together with team member Rajan Dubey, who is also joining as a partner.
Both are based in Chennai and specialise in “compliance audit and management services through a technology-based platform”, according to Link Legal’s press release.
Both are also law graduates, according to the website of Complysoft, which is a “management consulting and compliance company” that they both run, offering “end to end compliance solutions”.
We understand that SD Services is another commercial offering by Sahu and Dubey, and has a total of four fee-earners, including the two partners, according to a Link Legal spokesperson.
Complysoft offers a software tool, according to its website, which provides “graphical representation of compliance with status”, and daily status emails providing compliance information, and providing real time information on applicable regulations and laws and providing legal opinions, all via a cloud-based technology architecture.
“This practice will add great value to the firm’s capability not only in providing assistance to its clients in compliances but also in transaction support services to all verticals of the firm,” according to Link Legal.
