Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys advised Toyota Group on acquisition of car dealership business from Ravindu Motors Private Limited
The full-service Indian law firm, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys (LKS), advised and represented the Toyota Group (Toyota) in its acquisition of the car dealership business from Ravindu Motors Private Limited (Ravindu) through a business transfer arrangement.
Following the transaction, the dealership now operates under the brand name “Bharat Toyota”, paving the way for Toyota’s expansion in the dealership market in Karnataka, offering comprehensive market coverage and a strong customer base.
LKS provided end-to-end legal and transactional support to the Toyota Group, including structuring, drafting, and negotiation of transaction documents, as well as deal closure.
