Kyndryl India Appoints Ashis Panikkar as Director, General Lawyer
Kyndryl India has appointed Ashis Panikkar as Director, General Lawyer, bringing with him more than two decades of legal experience across the media, finance, and technology sectors.
Prior to joining Kyndryl India, Ashis Panikkar served as Legal Counsel at Sony Music Entertainment India Private Limited for over six years in Mumbai, where he handled key legal matters related to the company’s operations in the Indian entertainment industry.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles including Chief Manager – Legal at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited in its Distressed Assets Resolution Business, and Associate Vice President – Legal at Network18 Media & Investments Limited. He was also the Founding Partner at S A Partners and previously worked as an Associate at Hemant Sahai Associates and Khaitan & Jayakar.
Ashis Panikkar’s experience spans corporate advisory, media, financial services, and complex commercial matters, positioning him strongly for his leadership role at Kyndryl India.
Speaking on his new role, he said.

He holds a BLS LLB degree from Government Law College, Mumbai.
