The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co advised Service Easy Technology Private Limited and its promoters and certain selling shareholders in connection with its 100% share sale transaction, pursuant to which Valuedrive Technologies Private Limited acquired full ownership of the Company.
The Company owns and operates a platform named ‘GoMechanic’ and is engaged in the business of aggregation of automobile repair and maintenance services through independent third-party garage service providers through the platform and sourcing and distributing (on a B2B basis) automobile spare parts and automobile accessories.
The Purchaser owns and operates ‘Spinny’, a C2C platform and is engaged in the business of providing a platform for sale and purchase of second-hand cars and is a prominent full-stack used car platform.
The Khaitan & Co transaction team was led by Aditya Patni (Partner) and Prithwijit Gangopadhyay (Partner), with support from Riya Dutta (Principal Associate) and Supallab Chakraborty (Senior Associate), along with Tanima Tandon (Counsel), Pulkit Chaturvedi (Principal Associate), and Amanee Kadakia (Senior Associate).
