Khaitan & Co Advised One.Com India Private Limited On The Acquisition Of SocialPilot’s Social Media Management Business
Khaitan & Co advised Group.One, one of Europe’s leading digital solutions providers for small businesses, on the India-leg of the transaction for the acquisition of the social media management business of SocialPilot. As part of the India transaction, certain assets, liabilities and employees of SocialPilot Solutions LLP were transferred to Group.One’s Indian entity, One.Com India Private Limited.
The Firm’s role involved conducting due diligence on SocialPilot Solutions LLP; preparation, review, negotiation and finalisation of the transaction documents; and assisting with signing and closing of the transaction.
The Khaitan & Co team was led by Prasenjit Chakravarti (Partner), Nitish Goel (Partner), Sanjana Bhatnagar (Counsel), Christina Shaju (Principal Associate) and Jigyasa Kinger (Associate), with support from Ritu Shaktawat (Partner), Sudipta Bhattacharjee (Partner), Arjyadeep Roy (Principal Associate) and Husain Bohra (Senior Associate) on direct and indirect tax aspects.
