Khaitan & Co advised Jupiter International Limited on investment by ValueQuest SCALE Fund

Khaitan & Co advised Jupiter International Limited (“Jupiter”) and its promoters on a second investment of approximately INR 500 Crores in Jupiter, led by ValueQuest SCALE Fund (“ValueQuest”) along with other investors (collectively, the “Investors”), for a minority stake. This follows an initial investment of INR 300 Crores in Jupiter last year by ValueQuest.

The Firm assisted the Client with

  • (i) Structuring of the transaction;
  • (ii) Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing various transaction documents; and
  • (iii) Closing-related actions.

The Khaitan & Co deal team was led by Shourya Sengupta (Partner) with support from Arka Banerjee Choudhury (Senior Associate), Supallab Chakraborty (Senior Associate), and Joysurjo Roy (Associate).
