Khaitan & Co advised Indorama Ventures on 24.9% stake acquisition in EPL from Blackstone
Khaitan & Co advised Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited on its acquisition of equity shares representing 24.9% of the share capital of EPL Limited from Epsilon Bidco Pte Ltd, an entity owned by the Blackstone Group, for a total consideration of approximately INR 1,907 crores.
The firm’s role included advising Indorama on structuring the transaction, conducting due diligence on the target, and assisting in the drafting and negotiation of deal documents, including the share purchase agreement and shareholders’ agreement, as well as supporting the closing of the transaction.
