
Khaitan & Co advised Blume Ventures on setup of its fifth venture capital fund
The leading law firm Khaitan & Co acted as legal counsel to Blume Ventures in the setup of its fifth venture capital fund in India and the GIFT International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). The fund will invest in early-stage Indian and cross-border ventures across sectors including Health-tech, B2B AI, Consumer, Fin-tech, and Deep-tech. The fund achieved a first close of USD 175 million, raising capital from institutional investors, multilateral institutions, corporates, and family offices.
The firm’s role included negotiations with key institutional investors for their investment in Fund V and providing assistance in closing the transactions.
