Khaitan & Co advised BatterySmart on its USD 29 million Series B1 funding round, which saw participation from Rising Tide, ResponsAbility, Ecosystem Integrity Fund, and LeapFrog Investments. This funding marks another step forward in BatterySmart’s mission to scale its battery-swapping network across India and accelerate the transition to electric mobility.

Khaitan & Co assisted BatterySmart in the drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of the transaction documents, as well as providing closing-related legal support.
