Kochhar & Co has hired two K Law Delhi partners – Pradeep Ratnam, who effectively headed its office in the city, and Parul Verma; both specialise in banking and finance.
Verma and Ratnam had both joined very recently.
Ratnam had moved to K Law in 2016 from Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (ILFS), where he was general counsel (GC).
He is a 1997 NLSIU Bangalore graduate.
Verma, a 2010 GGSIP University graduate, had joined K Law as an associate partner around 2017, becoming partner in April 2020.
She had previously worked at HSA, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and InterGlobe Hotels Private Limited.
We have reached out to K Law, Kochhar and Ratnam for comment.
A Kochhar spokesperson has confirmed their joining.
Mumbai-headquartered K Law had seen a number of partner departures in Delhi during Ratnam’s tenure (as well as nationally more recently in a mass break-away).
