John Thomas joins Frost Brown Todd as Partner in Houston Office
A U.S.-based national law firm, Frost Brown Todd (FBT) has announced that John Thomas has joined the firm’s Houston office as a Partner in its Private Equity & Venture Capital practice group, further strengthening the firm’s corporate and energy capabilities across Texas and nationwide.
Thomas brings over two decades of experience in corporate, transactional, and oil and gas matters. His background includes serving as General Counsel to multiple public and private equity portfolio companies in the energy sector, where he managed all legal affairs including M&A, joint ventures, public company reporting, compliance, litigation oversight, ESG initiatives, risk management, and corporate governance.

Thomas joins FBT from Grable Martin, where his practice focused on corporate transactions, financings, M&A, oil and gas operations, contract negotiation, corporate governance, and transactional insurance procurement.
