
Herbert Smith Freehills advised Mitsui & Co., Ltd. on low-carbon offtake arrangements for landmark Blue Point ammonia project
Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Mitsui & Co., Ltd. on low-carbon offtake and related CCS arrangements for the Blue Point low-carbon ammonia project in Louisiana, USA.
The Blue Point project, developed by a joint venture between Mitsui & Co., Ltd. and its partners CF Industries and JERA Co., Inc., will establish the world’s largest low-carbon ammonia production facility, with an annual production capacity of approximately 1.4 million metric tons.
