Former Aditya Birla Group Legal Head, Sudipta Chakraborty, Appointed as Head of Legal at Sanofi India
Sanofi India Limited has announced the appointment of Sudipta Chakraborty as the Head of Legal, India, effective from 2nd June 2025.
The company informed in a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that the appointment was made upon the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
Sudipta Chakraborty brings over 20 years of experience across legal, compliance, patents, and trademark laws with a strong business-centric approach to managing complex legal, regulatory, and compliance mandates. She joins Sanofi India from the Aditya Birla Group, where she was Vice President, Group Legal & Compliance.
A 2005 graduate of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, Sudipta has worked with law firms Economic Laws Practice and Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. She has also held senior legal roles at FMC Corporation and Adient. Most recently, she served as General Counsel and Head of Compliance at RoundGlass for over three years.
