Eversheds Sutherland advised Harworth Group plc on £275 million revolving credit facility
The global law firm, Eversheds Sutherland has advised longstanding client, Harworth Group plc, a leading regeneration and strategic land owner and developer, on its new £275 million revolving credit facility (RCF). Harworth is a listed Yorkshire-headquartered company, focused on the Industrial & Logistics (I&L) and Residential sectors, developing and managing a portfolio of over 15,000 acres of strategic land across more than 100 sites throughout the North of England and Midlands.
The RCF includes an uncommitted accordion option, which if exercised would increase the facility to £325 million. The facility carries an improved core margin of 200 basis points over SONIA, with an initial four-year term, extendable up to five years at Harworth’s request, subject to bank consent. The syndicate comprises Harworth’s existing relationship banks, NatWest, Santander, and HSBC, with the option to add further lenders. This new facility replaces Harworth’s existing £240 million facility and extends the Group’s debt maturity by approximately 2.5 years.
Paul Castle, Eversheds Sutherland, said,
“Hasan brings a wealth of experience in international arbitration and high-value disputes, along with a strong track record advising both government entities and global corporations. His bilingual capabilities, regional insight, and diverse sector experience make him a valuable addition to the team. Hasan will play a key role in enhancing Galadari’s dispute resolution offering across the region.”
The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Paul Castle (Partner), supported by Josh Walker (Principal Associate) and Jasmine Greenwood (Associate).
Eversheds Sutherland is a major global corporate law firm and one of the largest in the world, with over 3,000 lawyers operating across more than 70 offices in over 30 countries.
