EcoSoul Home, a Noida-based sustainable home essentials brand, has successfully raised $20 million (approximately ₹180 crore) in a Series B funding round. The round, led by Accel and Bajaj Financial Securities, comprises a blend of $17 million in equity and $3 million in venture debt.
Key Investors and Strategic Backing
In addition to lead investors, the round also attracted participation from prominent investment firms such as Mohandas Pai’s StartupXseed Ventures, JSW Ventures, and the CK Birla Group. The debt component of the funding was facilitated by Alteria Capital and SIDBI, indicating a well-rounded investor confidence in EcoSoul’s business model and growth potential. This latest infusion takes the brand’s total cumulative funding to over $50 million, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey.
Scaling Manufacturing and Capacity Expansion
The newly acquired capital will be strategically deployed to scale EcoSoul’s owned manufacturing infrastructure. According to Co-Founder and CEO Rahul Singh, the company plans to double the production capacity across its five fully-owned manufacturing units located in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), Sitarganj (Uttarakhand), Tumkur and Shimoga (Karnataka), and Raipur (Chhattisgarh). In addition to these facilities, EcoSoul also operates through 11 contract manufacturing units, providing robust scalability and flexibility in production.
Strengthening Omnichannel Presence
With a vision to expand its footprint, EcoSoul intends to leverage the funding to reinforce its omnichannel retail presence in key global markets. The company already operates in over 12 countries, with significant traction in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, GCC countries, and India. Approximately 75% of EcoSoul’s revenue is generated from outside India, underscoring its strong global appeal and positioning in the sustainable home essentials segment.
New Brand Launch and B2B Entry
The funding will also catalyze EcoSoul’s entry into new verticals. The company is preparing to launch a new brand under the EcoSoul umbrella, focusing on value-driven, affordable products tailored for the mass market. Furthermore, EcoSoul is strategically entering the business-to-business (B2B) segment, aiming to diversify its revenue streams and tap into bulk procurement markets.
International Market Expansion
EcoSoul’s global ambitions continue to grow as the company sets its sights on new international markets. Upcoming expansion efforts will target Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy, further cementing its position as a key player in the eco-friendly home goods sector.
