Duane Morris & Selvam Appoints Akshay Kishore as Director and Head of India Dispute Resolution Practice

Duane Morris & Selvam LLP has announced the appointment of Akshay Kishore as Director and Head of the firm’s India Dispute Resolution Practice, enhancing its cross-border litigation and arbitration capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.

A 2007 graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai, Akshay holds an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University School of Law. He is dual-qualified in India and the UK, and brings to the firm extensive international experience in high-value, cross-border commercial disputes and international arbitration. Over the course of his career, he has been associated with leading firms such as ALMT Legal, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, AZB & Partners, Ashurst, Economic Laws Practice, and Bird & Bird.

Akshay has advised global clients in arbitration, mediation, adjudication, and regulatory investigations, including matters involving anti-bribery and corruption compliance. His sectoral focus spans infrastructure, construction, energy and mining, pharmaceuticals, shipping, telecom, and cross-border investments. He has acted under major institutional arbitration rules including SIAC, ICC, LCIA, DIAC, MCIA, and UNCITRAL.
